Open Water (first level- for people with disabilities)
It's for a scuba diver competent in using safely the equipment and ready to dive in open waters together with other scuba divers with no deco dive and within -18 metres. We use a multilevel certification system (A,B,C) based on our students diving proficiency and on their ability to assist another diver in the water.

Open Water level A: you're certified to dive with another open water certified diver ; you have successfully passed your certification and have all the physical requirements to dive safely, you are able to assist another diver in difficulty and can perform the rescue procedures.
Open Water level B: you have successfully passed your certification and have all the physical requirements to dive safely and solve your personal emergencies; you have not passed the standards showing that you can help another scuba diver in difficulty. A level B diver must dive with two other able-bodied divers holding an open water or more advanced certification. In case of an emergency you will be a valuable companion to the other members of the group.
Open Water level C: you have successfully passed your certification and have all the physical requirements to dive safely but you have not passed the standards stating you can solve your personal emergencies alone or dive, swim underwater or use the BCD alone. Level C diver not only requires two dive buddies, but one must be trained in diver rescue. The third member of the buddy team is not there to further assist the B or C Level diver; they are there to ensure the safety of the A Level or above diver that cannot be assisted by the B or C Level diver. In case of emergency this system will ensure the safety of all the members.
